What To Bring:   Please have athlete bring glove, bat, cleats (for out door only), tennis shoes, light snacks, water and/or sports drinks.  Athletes that want to learn the catching position are advised to bring catching gear and catcher’s mitt.

What To Wear:   Please have athlete in baseball pants and with athletic supporter.



Refund Policy:  

There will be a $20 cancellation fee if GSA is notified 72 hours prior to camp start date.  Any Cancellations after the 72 hour mark will be subject to a $50 dollar fee.  All fee's will cover the cost of your t-shirt and Goody bag that would have been ordered upon your registration.  You may pick up your items at the Gonzalez Sports Academy.


Athletes will learn Fundamental & Advanced Skills:
The Gonzalez Sports Academy provides the "Best of the Best" in professional Instruction for kids in all areas including: bunting, base-running, fielding & hitting. They will also learn situational infield & outfield scenarios along with top of the line strength & conditioning instruction.

Merv Rettenmund
Mervin Weldon Rettenmund (Merv) (born June 6, 1943, in Flint, Michigan) is a former Major League Baseball player and coach. He played thirteen seasons with the Baltimore Orioles (1968-73), Cincinnati Reds (1974-75), San Diego Padres (1976-77) and California Angels (1979-80). He helped the Orioles win the 1969 and 1971 American League Pennant, 1970 World Series and 1973 AL Eastern Division, the Reds win the 1975 World Series and the Angels win the 1979 AL Western Division. 

Merv has been the hitting coach for the Atlanta Braves, the San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers and the Oakland Athletics.

His proven techniques help reinforce the fundamentals of the game, and provide immediate results.

  1. I have also come across latest baseball specific camp just like America's Baseball Camps For Youth that options two hundred player nightlong, long camps in or close to major cities round the country also as weekend day camps and coaches clinics in tiny rural cities, we tend to bang all.
